Our active member and environmentalist Sirajuddin organized an Independence Day celebration function on the 15th of August at Karnataka, India in a modest way.
The Guest of Honor was: Smt. I.K. Kadiwal, Rtd. Head Master, Govt. School, Vijapur.
He sent a message:
“On 15th August, we celebrate the 69th Independence Day of India at Dr. Abdul Kalam Hall, Deccan Environmental Research Orgnisation (DERO), Vijapur of Karnataka State, India. In which many peoples irrespective of caste, color, gender, age and profession actively participated and expressed their joyfulness. This celebration was arranged by PEACE CC.”

On 13 August, we celebrated the 68th Independence Day of Pakistan in the Press Club in Lahore, Pakistan, in which around one hundred people participated from different religions and traditions: Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and some other religions also participated in this.
This celebration was arranged by URI Pakistan.
