Report on Harmony Breakfast – February 27, 2025
Organized by Bishop Dr. Tariq John at Grace Gospel Church, Rawalpindi

As part of Interfaith Harmony Week 2025, Bishop Dr. Tariq John arranged a Harmony Breakfast at Grace Gospel Church, Rawalpindi. The event brought together participants from different denominations, fostering a spirit of unity and peace.

The program began with prayers led by Bishop Dr. Tariq John and Advocate Shan Ansari, followed by an introduction of all participants by Bishop Tariq.

Rev. Yuel Bhatti delivered a speech on peace and interfaith harmony, emphasizing the importance of “Love of God, Love of Neighbor.” He appreciated the initiative and extended special thanks to Bishop Tariq for organizing the Harmony Breakfast.

Advocate Shan Ansari highlighted how all religions promote peace and love, stating that Muslims and Christians in Pakistan live together harmoniously and should set an example of love and peace for the world.

Syed Mujahid Hussain Hashami, Chairman of Anan Committee Interfaith Harmony, also spoke about interfaith peace and suggested that such gatherings should be held regularly—ideally every month.

Mr. Naeem Samuel, Media Coordinator of ABC Canada, Pakistan, expressed gratitude to Rev. Yuel Bhatti, Bishop Tariq, and all participants, reiterating the importance of love and peace in building a harmonious society.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer by Bishop Dr. Tariq John, blessing all attendees and reaffirming the commitment to interfaith unity and peace.
